Merry Christmas Feasts...

Wow, has it really been SIX whole days since I've blogged?!  I have had a crazy busy week:  went to a fun Christmas party one night, worked an event here for three nights, made and sold lots and lots of jewelry and had a few play dates with the kids.  Not to mention, we are going to stay in Popoyo (about 30 minutes North of here) for a week (packing, packing, packing!) and getting ready for Santa! 

Speaking of Santa, we have also been preparing for a BIG gift to the local community.  I have to say, I am so proud of my hubby!  He raised almost $200 for a big Christmas Eve feast for the village of Limon, which is right outside of our community.  He is actually in Rivas right now getting all of the food and some games for the local children to play after they eat.  We are helping to cook and set it all up most of Friday, so we will have our own feast the next day.  I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than giving back.  Then we will relax to our own Christmas feast of lobster, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, brocoli and cheese and strawberry shortcake for dessert.  yummy!!!
