Another great weekend in paradise! We spent most of Saturday at Playa Rosada. We had a picnic and Chris surfed. I also walked all the way to one end with the boys. (carrying River most of the way!) Chris and the boys also made a huge "sea monster" in the sand. Yesterday was a pretty lazy day until Ryder locked River in our master suite thinking that would keep him safe while he went downstairs. We had to call the landlord and literally break the door knob off of the door. Three hours later, River was finally free! Poor little guy. Luckily, it was his nap time and there was a dvd already playing to keep him preoccupied. We went out to dinner with the landlord and his wife and three year old son to celebrate. We had the best ceviche I've had here yet. We followed it up with some yummy fish tacos.
Today has already been great, too. Chris, Ryder and I went to Los Perros. Chris took his short board out and did really well. I took our 9'6" out and caught 6 waves in a row back to back. It was awesome! Next up, Ryder! It was my first time teaching him and it actually went really well. He stood up three times. The third time he rode all the way into the beach. I was so proud, mostly of him, but also that I could actually help him catch a good wave. When we got home, we ate breakfast and then Yveth, the kids and myself drove into town to pick up some necessities. I only stalled once! I officially LOVE driving stick! It's so fun. Gotta love the simple things in life.
This was written on Monday, but we've had a severe lack of internet this week, so it's a little late!
